Susan Dudley

I don't know how I would have handled my journey through cancer without the tremendous help of my mother-in-law, Susan. She has commuted a long distance for the past year and a half to take care of me and my family, which consists of my husband and my son Maddox who is now 20 months old. I was diagnosed in March 2006 with colorectal cancer, 5 months after giving birth to my son. Throughout my treatments, which have included surgery, radiation and chemotherapy, my mother-in-law has been there. From doing laundry, to cooking our meals, taking care of our son and raising my spirits when I felt helpless, Susan has been there. The amount of time, and energy she has sacrificed to take care of us is unbelievable. I don't think she'll ever know how appreciative I am. There are just not enough words.
