I was playing for this choir when I was diagnosed in Mar 06 and given two months to live. After the diagnosis they supported me spiritually with their prayers and encouragement, both verbally, in emails and over the phone as well as physically with food, etc. Many of the choir members are professionals--doctors, lawyers, nurses, etc. Thru their professional knowledge and connections they helped me obtain excellent medical care. Even though I live an hour and a half away they made trips to my home to help and support me as well as hold prayer gatherings. In August of 07 I resigned my position there but they have continued their physical and spiritual support even though I no longer play for them. Without them, their prayers and support I would not be alive today.
