My friend Mark helped me through my journey with cancer with a heart of mercy, patience and love. He took me to each and every chemo treatment that I had. He was there for all three of my surgeries. He took me to the emergency room and stayed up all night with me. He loved me even when I was bald and could hardly walk around the block. I will never forget how amazing he was during this time. No one had ever loved me like he did. I will always carry that special bond we had in my heart even though we have parted. I am not sure anyone ever loved me as much as he did. I laugh when I think of how I would wear different wigs on dates. He never knew who would be at the door when He came to pick me up. I especially appreciated that he would be okay with me without a wig at all. When I look back at that time in my life I am filled with so much gratitude to him. I just wanted to honor him and let others know that there are people out there who exhibit selfless care and concern. Thank you Mark and God bless you as you journey in your life. Kath
